How Epoxy Resin is made?
The epoxy resin is produced from two hard substances and chemicals i.e. epoxide and polyamine. The epoxy resin flooring is used in different applications such as strengthening fiber glass, creating molds; fiber reinforced plastic materials and other common purpose adhesives such as coatings, composite materials, and also for thermosetting resins. The two chemicals i.e. epoxide is the resin base of the reaction whereas the polyamine is the hardening substances. When the both chemicals combine, strong substance or hardened material develops. This process is called curing of the resin and it takes some time to develop. These are available in any craft stores in separate bottles or in one bottle with two compartments.
